Meet our Chief Design Officer & EVP, Reza Safai
Reza Safai serves as the Chief Design Officer and Executive Vice President of Sales and Service at MelroseINC, an award-winning technology retailer and professional services company based in Los Angeles, California. With over a decade of leadership at the company, Reza’s innovative ideas and creative problem-solving have propelled MelroseINC to the forefront of the industry. In addition to his roles in design and sales, he also oversees the company’s marketing efforts and operations.
Reza spearheaded the creation of MelroseDBC, the newest division of MelroseINC, which designs and builds custom, modern, and innovative workspaces. These transformed spaces are highly functional, aesthetically pleasing, and tailored to enhance productivity while meeting the unique needs of employees. MelroseDBC’s clients span multiple industries, including technology, film and television production, military, aerospace, and life sciences.
In his role as Chief Design Officer and Executive Vice President, Reza has also led his teams in streamlining and sourcing technology for a variety of clients, creating complex workflow solutions, and developing sophisticated engineering systems. He also plays a key role in shaping the company’s overall marketing and operational strategies.
Reza draws creative inspiration from a variety of sources, including childhood memories of his colorful Hot Wheels car collection, his travels in Italy, France, New York, Las Vegas and his curiosity about the colors, lines, and angles that shape his surroundings. He believes the intersection of modern design and functionality is essential to creating spaces that inspire the way people work and play.
Agility is a core value in Reza’s work. Early in his career at Apple, where he was among the first retail employees, he played a pivotal role in launching the Genius Bar at multiple locations, gaining valuable insights into the marketplace and consumer trends.
Today, as part of MelroseINC’s leadership team, Reza upholds artistry, creativity, and innovation as guiding principles for the entire organization.
