FotoKem has a well-known and deserved reputation in the industry for working with filmmakers to create their best possible content. Its investment in Artist will now enable it to cut and deliver for 4K production to platforms like Netflix.
4K ALL THE WAY
As more productions move to greater-than-HD resolution, it’s essential that they have the integrated software and hardware that allows them to create the highest quality video content. Combining Artist with renowned Media Composer editing software delivers top-notch high-res video ingest, monitoring and output. Artist | DNxIO enables pros to capture, monitor and output 2 and 4 K media and Ultra HD, as well as SD and HD formats. Its form factor fits in industry standard 19-inch equipment racks ensuring easy edit bay integration. A multitude of connections allows fast switching amongst a range of input devices, monitors and output devices. Even when the software is not running editors can monitor ingested and outputted media from the system itself.
Some other key features include hands-on control over video, audio, timecode and remote control signaling sources, as well as controlling the system from external devices through remote control ports. Artist | DNxIO ensures media sync with dual timecode in and out and works more quickly and efficiently with real-time or accelerated encode, decode and up, down and cross conversion.
